The ISS-06 integrated soil sensor is a combined device which consists of a soil temperature and a soil moisture sensor. It is a cheap solution for the simultaneous measurement of those two characteristics. An industry-standard Watermark sensor is used to measure the moisture. The device measures the moisture value in either water potential (mbar, hPa, cbar) or as the relative percentage of dehydration between the saturation and dry state.
The sensor is available with standard RS485 connection or with 5V-powered BSI interface for MilliMet stations.
